Sally Alicia Acorn is the second child of King Maximillian<\/strong> and Queen Alicia Acorn<\/strong>. Her mother and brother were lost during the Great War<\/strong> and she was raised by her father, her mentor Julayla the Chipmunk<\/strong>, and the nanny Rosie the Woodchuck<\/strong>. She befriended Sonic the Hedgehog<\/strong> and was evacuated with him and several other orphans to Knothole Village<\/strong> once Dr. Ivo “Julian” Robotnik<\/strong> conquered the Kingdom of Acorn<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

With her father now missing as well, leadership of the newly formed Knothole<\/strong> Freedom Fighters<\/strong> fell on Sally\u2019s shoulders. Under her command the Freedom Fighters made great progress toward liberating Robotropolis<\/strong>. At the end of the First Robotnik War,<\/strong> Sally fell victim to an attempted assassination, but managed to make a full recovery. She was also reunited with her parents and brother, Elias Acorn<\/strong>. Sally was once expected to take the throne, but she has continued to help the Freedom Fighters in the fight against Dr. Ivo “Eggman” Robotnik<\/strong>\u00a0and other threats.<\/p>\n

While not able to perform the flashier moves of her fellow Freedom Fighters, Sally has a unique skill set which make her the linchpin of the team. Sally is trained in various martial arts to hold her own in hand-to-hand combat, and has trained her body to be exceptionally acrobatic and flexible. She is also prepared from survival training and technical skills used for hacking with her best friend Nicole the Holo-Lynx<\/strong>. But Sally’s greatest asset is her mind. Her leadership and tactics have led her team to countless victories and her level-headedness allows her to mediate conflicts through diplomacy.<\/p>\n

Throughout much of her life Sally has been torn between her royal duties and her role as field leader of the Freedom Fighters, causing a great deal of tension between both her father and first love, Sonic. A natural leader and strategist, Sally has led her team to many victories over the forces of evil but can become discouraged by her failures; luckily, her friends are always there to support her. Sally can be playful as well as hardheaded, but her devotion to the people of Mobius<\/strong> is unquestionable, even if it comes at the cost of her own freedom.<\/span><\/p>\n
