Julie-Su was born into the Dark Legion<\/strong>, the child of Grandmaster Luger the Echidna<\/strong>\u00a0and his second wife Mari-Su the Echidna<\/strong>. Her half-siblings Kragok the Echidna<\/strong> and Lien-Da the Echidna<\/strong> were resentful of their father for this and conspired to have the rest of their family removed from the picture. Both Mari-Su and Luger were assassinated and Julie-Su grew up under the care of Simon the Echidna<\/strong> and Floren-Ca the Echidna<\/strong> but her \u201cMemory Neutralizing Chip\u201d<\/strong> was activated to erase any knowledge of her original parents.<\/span><\/p>\n

Left with no knowledge of who she was, Julie-Su had no devotion to her role as a soldier. When the Legion escaped from the Twilight Cage<\/strong> back to Angel Island,<\/strong> Julie-Su deserted and encountered Knuckles the Echidna<\/strong>. She worked alongside Knuckles as he investigated Echidnaopolis<\/strong>. She returned to the Legion under Enerjak<\/strong>, but betrayed them and joined the Chaotix<\/strong>. Her friendship with Knuckles grew into romance and she supported him through his many struggles. She also reunited with her foster parents and learned the truth of her past.<\/p>\n

Julie-Su has a similar personality to Knuckles. Both can be temperamental and hard-headed, but are committed to protecting their people and home. Both are protective of each other and provide support when the other needs it. Julie-Su can be frustrated by Knuckles\u2019 stubbornness, but he is one of the few people she is comfortable with. She has also been at odds with Vector the Crocodile<\/strong>, though they have relaxed over time. <\/span><\/p>\n

She is a bit of a tomboy, hating ceremony and dressing up.<\/span>\u00a0Julie-Su is skilled in combat due to her history as a soldier, and is a crack shot with her double-barrelled Proton Gun<\/strong>. Her Cybernetics <\/strong>also allow her interface with machinery and can act as a headset. With the echidnas displaced, Julie-Su and the Chaotix have relocated to Shrine Isle<\/strong> but occasionally help various Freedom Fighters groups battle the Dark Egg Legion<\/strong>.<\/span>
