Haven<\/strong> is the former headquarters of the Brotherhood of Guardians<\/strong> and the current base for Knuckles the Echidna’s<\/strong> team the Chaotix<\/strong>. Located deep underground beneath the outskirts of the Sandopolis Desert<\/strong>, the original Haven was a high tech facility constructed by the Fire Ant Queendom<\/strong> to aid the citizens of Echidnaopolis<\/strong> and in particular the first and second Guardians, the late Edmund the Echidna<\/strong> and his son Steppenwolf the Echidna<\/strong>. After many years of use, the original Haven was destroyed by Dark Legion’s<\/strong> Quantum Beam<\/strong>, with the current Haven II<\/strong> being hastily put into service by the Brotherhood. Following the base being ransacked by the Eggman Empire<\/strong>, the base lay abandoned until Knuckles returned to it to begin searching for the missing Brotherhood. Since then, the Chaotix have made the base into a home of sorts.<\/p>\n

Much smaller than the original Haven, Haven II features a simpler monitor room than was present in the original Haven as well as individual rooms the Chaotix have given a personal touch. The main common room, once drab and utilitarian befitting the Brotherhood’s older and mission focused nature, has been given a hip makeover better suited for the teens and reminiscent of their time in Freedom HQ<\/strong> while stationed in Knothole City<\/strong>. The lounge area has a kitchenette sitting area as well as space still being used as the team unpacks from their previous homes across Angel Island<\/strong>. When not working, the team enjoys a television which has basic channels supplied curtesy of the Republic of Acorn<\/strong> and a retro game system from the AGES Corporation<\/strong>. It may not be new, but as Vector the Crocodile<\/strong> says “Its what they can afford”.<\/p>\n

Beyond the lounge, Haven also hosts other rooms.<\/p>\n
