The first born of King Bartholomew<\/strong> and Queen Vanessa<\/strong>, Charmy grew up as Prince of the Golden Hive Colony<\/strong>. Despite his status, Charmy preferred to play with other kids his age such as his pal Mello the Bee<\/strong> rather than learn the skills he’d need to lead. So it came as no surprise when at his formal introduction Charmy panicked at the responsibility and ran away. Charmy fled to Angel Island<\/strong> and made a life for himself in Strawberry Stretch<\/strong> alongside other kids his age.<\/p>\n

But when given a call to action, Charmy stood with Knuckles the Echidna<\/strong> and the Chaotix<\/strong> to defend his new home, and the energetic boy would stick with the team through their earliest adventures. But after Mello’s untimely passing, Charmy found himself with the resolve to face his destiny and return home. He would become engaged to Saffron the Bee<\/strong> only for the two to return to the Chaotix after the Golden Hive Colony was destroyed by the Eggman Empire<\/strong>. Charmy would be further crippled by a devastating injury at Dr. Eggman’s<\/strong> hands, but remains as cheerful and committed to the fight for freedom as ever.<\/p>\n

Charmy’s most prominent physical ability is his wings, which allow him to fly and provide aerial support to the Chaotix alongside Saffron. Charmy has practiced flying since he was a child, and can now move at such speeds that he can create a whirlwind. Charmy also possesses a powerful stinger with which he can break Badniks<\/strong> and terrify those that threaten him or his friends.<\/p>\n

While Charmy’s injury has muddled his mind somewhat, his most endearing qualities have endured. Charmy is always full of cheer and excitement, often acting as an optimist on a team full of realists. Charmy is closest with his loving fianc\u00e9e Saffron, with the pair rarely apart. Always eager to get in the middle of things, Charmy can be loud and energetic to the point of annoyance at times. But he is loyal to anyone he meets and has earned the loyalty of all his friends. Charmy will be the first to throw himself into the thick of things, but the Chaotix will always be there to back him up.<\/p>\n
