Saffron is the cheerful fianc\u00e9e of Prince Charmy the Bee<\/strong>. Saffron grew up alongside Charmy in the Golden Hive Colony<\/strong> and the pair were betrothed as kids. Saffron was from a noble family and sheltered to prepare for her role as future Queen. When Charmy abruptly left home, Saffron didn’t understand, but tried to see things from his perspective. The young girl would see herself on many adventures with Charmy in her dreams, allowing her a place for to develop that sense of freedom.<\/p>\n When Charmy eventually returned to the Colony following the death of his friend Mello the Bee<\/strong>, Saffron found Charmy matured and aware of his responsibilities, but she instead confided in him her own desires to adventure with him and the two grew closer. She would join Charmy when he returned to the Chaotix<\/strong> after the Colony’s fall to the Eggman Empire<\/strong>, and be devastated when Charmy was zapped within the Egg Vineyard<\/strong>. Saffron remains a part of the Chaotix, eager to help Charmy and her friends whenever she can.<\/p>\n Saffron has many of the same physical abilities as Charmy such as her fast flight. While Charmy may be faster, Saffron’s more precise nature allows her to fly more efficiently. When in a combat situation, Saffron can often be found directing Charmy, allowing him to perform outstanding maneuvers in ways that will be most effective. Saffron also has a stinger attack, though she avoids using if possible out of concern for others.<\/p>\n Saffron is considerably more courteous and sensitive than Charmy, but her fianc\u00e9’s childishness and attitude don’t bother her as she finds him charming and fun to be around. Saffron is an optimistic and imaginative girl, often dreaming of fantastical stories and wanting to bring them to life once she’s awake. Saffron will often draw and paint in her free time while listening to music. Charmy has encouraged her to share her work, though she remains too shy about it to do so yet.
