Archie Sonic Online is made up of a great group of volunteers who make our comics come alive with the same excitement and fun the original comics had. Our talented staff is the soul of this project, and the credits pages of the comics simply don’t do these brilliant individuals justice. Personal Message: How’s it going? I’m Z, preferred trade is editor and writer. I’ve been a Sonic fan for as long as I’ve had cognitive thought, called myself Sonic’s biggest fan once I did, and the Archie Comics being near and dear to my heart. When I first heard of ASO, I immediately tried out, and while I definitely fumbled at first, persistence and learning from past mistakes allowed me to reach where I am now. I’ve been a Sonic fan for a long time, well, as big as a fan can be who doesn’t play much of the games, watch the shows or read the comics. Partly because my first ever gaming experience that I can recall is getting passed the second controller in Sonic 3, and realizing a moment later ‘I can FLY!’. But that changed in 2012 when I got properly into Sonic in a big way. Outside of Sonic, I’m also a big fan of Thunderbirds (Are Go), Lego, Role-playing, and the Fire Emblem games (even though I’m terrible at them).

Personal Message: Andrew is the name, and art is the game! I’ve been a huge fan of Sonic since back when I received a Sega Genesis one Christmas as a kid. I immediately fell in love with the series and the characters. Sonic and his friends (and enemies) became a part of what I loved to draw from an early age, and boy did I love to draw! Just like most of us, I was heartbroken to see the series go through its reboot where it tossed out all of the lore and characters that it built up over the years. I’ve been a huge Sonic nerd for nearly as long as I can remember, and I first got into the Archie comics through my first ever Sonic game, Sonic Mega Collection on the GameCube. Spaz’s cover art always had me enamored, and eventually, I gave drawing a shot. 15 years later, and here I am now! My favorite Archie Sonic stories are Mecha Madness, The Rise of Robo-Robotnik (72-77), House of Cards, and the Iron Dominion Saga, and my favorite covers are #29, #39, #54, #70, #148, #229, and anything Spaz created from #72 trough #136, which my own personal style pays homage to.
